With the new Lego 2 Movie out, it is really easy to get inspired and come up with some cool ideas.  We have been busy surfing YouTube and have found various Lego birthday invite tutorials, but this is by far his favourite design!  So we thought we would show you how to make it yourself!

It's super easy!

This is a "kids'' tutorial on making Lego brick party invitations. Staring my awesome, one of a kind, movie star son! We hope you enjoy!

Below is a step by step guide on how to make these, they are super simple to make!!  My four year old will show you how!

What you need:

  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick
  • Cardboard or coloured paper
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Stencil for circle (we used a playdough pot)
  • Mounting/foam tape
  • Printed pictures - Lego
  • Printed words - Come to my Party!
  • Printed birthday invite

Step One:

We made a Lego invite on the computer and printed 3 across a landscape A4 page.  We used google images to find Lego heads and a Lego logo to add to the design.

Step Two:

We cut the two different cards to form a top and bottom.  This was made big enough to seal both sides and fit the invite into the middle.  We also cut several cardboard circles using a playdough container as a stencil.
